After a heart attack stops him cold, Jonathan finds himself trapped in a liminal space where the dead talk back—and the truth hits harder than he’s ready for. As his adult children wrestle their own addictions, failures, and fears, Jonathan must choose whether he’s done with this world or willing to fight for it. Fierce, darkly funny, and unflinchingly human, In the Doorway dives headfirst into the chaos of loss, love, and the brutal work of coming back.
